WPPI convention

Dana and I are attending the annual convention of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, the largest of the year in the US.  We drove out last week, cause she hates to fly, and we both enjoy a nice drive - so much to see that you can't see from above! The panorama below was alongside the road in New Mexico.  The next shot was a truck that was nice enough to position itself between us and the setting sun, which always aligns perfectly with I-40.  We enjoyed the shade for several minutes, and took advantage to get this shot!

On Sunday we attended the WPPI Business Institute, and soaked up all the ideas we could on how to do a better job of running our photo business.  We have lots of things to discuss, decide, redo, and remake about what we do, but in a few months there will be some big changes show up!!
